    Steam it. Place it in the steamer basket as you are heating the water with a lid on it. It will thaw as the water heats.

    …you need to be "spanked"… the Lobster tail should be defrosted… really, it should be still "flipp’n" on the Lobster !!! and cook the whole "beast" in rolling boiling sea-water… what your fixing to serve is "rubber-Lobster-tail"…if you’re gonna cook Lobster… cook it all… and cook it right… I don’t want to hear any more… I’ve got to go down to the shore and offer a sacrifice for you to King Neptune… The gods of the Ocean are screaming !!!!

    Place lobster in fry basket and slowly place into cooking oil. Let it cook until it floats, then remove from oil. Better method is to deep fry in butter, but it is expensive.
