What is the best way to cook lobster tail.?

Steamed Lobster Tails are the best.
You can add crab boil if you like that flavor.
If you want a cleaner lobster flavor, steam in salted water so that the natural salt in the lobster’s flesh does not get leached out.
Here’s a good steamed lobster recipe:

You’ll want to adjust the cooking time by about 2-5 minutes if you’re only cooking the tails.

Here’s a recipe from Betty Crocker’s Cookbook
Boiled Lobster – Low-Fat
Prep 20 min: Cook 12 minutes 2 servings
2 to 4 quarts water
2 live lobster (about 1 pound each)
Butter or stick margarine, melted, if desired
Lemon wedges, if desired
Fill-6 quart Dutch oven or stockpot one-third full of water. Heat to boiling. Plunge lobster headfirst into water. Cover and heat to boiling; reduce heat to low. Simmer 10 to 12 mintues or until lobster turn bright red; drain.
Serve with butter and lemon wedges.
For myself, I like to take out the uncook meat and:
- fry (not deep fry) with a little oil with vegetable and/or other seafood;
- bake in oven for 10 to 15 minutes if fresh. 30 minutes for frozen; and
- fry with garlic – I like roasted garlic – or ginger and onion.

I actually had it grilled one time and that was the best thing since sliced bread. If I can’t grill it, I broil it… but I’ll eat it any way someone wants to cook it. Yum yum!
